Today I’m going to be reviewing a deodorant by Laila London. I purchased this through Amz Reviews discounted in exchange for an honest review. I believe it’s around £8.95 on http://www.amazon.co.uk at the moment.
This isn’t a spray or roll-on deodorant like the traditional ones, it’s like a putty like texture which you have to take a pea sized amount and rub it into each armpit either with your fingertips, soft cloth or sponge.
To me it smells mostly like lavender which is good as thats one of my favourite scents. Once applied it left a sort of warming sensation. I didn’t have to reapply it for hours. It doesn’t sting either like traditional deodorants sometimes do.
It is a natural and organic product. It’s aluminium and baking soda free. The pot contains 60ml-2oz of product. It is safe effective and gentle enough for daily use. It contains bentonite clay and neem which helps keep you dry and controls body odour. It also contains organic plant oils and Shea butter which moistureises and soothes sensitive underarm skin with aromatic essential oils fighting the bacteria responsible for underarm odour.
This product was made by the company Laila London whom are based in Liverpool UK.
It contains the following ingredients:-
*(shea butter) butyrospermum parkii bentonite clay, (*coconut) cocos nucifera arrowroot powder, *(neem) melia azadirachta magnessium oxide, activated charcoal, (*witch hazel) hamamelis virginiana herbs (*chamomile) anthemis nobilis flowers (vitamin E) tocopherol acetate (*lemongrass) cymbopogon schoenanthus (thyme). Thymus vulgaris (*lavendar) lavandula angustifolia oil (*tea tree) melaleluca altermifolia (*rosemary) rosmarinus officinalis (*lemon) citrus medica limonum.
It is organic, gluten free and vegan. Once opened it needs to be used within 12 months.
Overall I’m very happy with this product, think I may have found a new favourite deodorant. I’d totally recommend this product.
