My Make-Up Favourites in April 2017 Including Reviews.

Today I want to talk to you about the make-up products that I was loving in April. I know it was a couple of months ago but I want my blog & YouTube channel to go hand in hand if that makes sense. Now onto the products…..

L’OREAL NAIL POLISH IN EVERLASTING PEPPERMINT.

This nail polish is a two step application. This nail polish as the nail polish shade at one end and like a top coat at the other end as you’ll see from the photo below. I just had to purchase it as it’s a perfect mint green shade and mint green is one of my favourite colours. Ideal for the summer. The colour is a pastel colour which I think is perfect for this time of the year. I like the formula of this polish. It went on well and the top coat made it that bit extra shiny. It lasted on my nails for just under a week which I think is great quality. The polishes give you like a salon gel manicure. You can purchase this at the link below for ONLY 99p.

RIMMEL MATCH PERFECTION FOUNDATION.

I love this foundation. I would go as far as to say that this is my holy grail foundation. It matches my skin perfectly, I’m in the shade Ivory. It gives me the coverage that I’m looking for on a daily basis. I would say it gives you a medium coverage and lasts on the face all day. It’s really easy to apply and I can’t speak any higher about it. I’ve just remembered that I’m nearly out of it so must go and repurchase it. You can purchase it at the link below for £7.99.

BENEFIT HOOLA BRONZER.

I don’t very often bronze as I don’t usually feel confident enough or think I look orange. As it’s the summer I thought i should start bronzing a bit. I really like this bronzer. I use it with a light hand and I really like how it looks. A little does go a long way. I’m really wanting to try the Hoola Lite bronzer as I think it would work better with my skin tone but can’t afford to purchase it at the moment. You can purchase Hoola at the link below for £24.50.

BENEFIT READY SET BROW.

I always reach for this brow gel to set my eyebrows. I love the wand of it as it’s easy to comb through your brows with it. It sets my brows really well and lasts all day. You don’t need to use much of it either. It works really well in conjunction with the Benefit Goof Proof brow pencil which ill be talking about next. You can purchase the Ready Set Brow at the link below for £20.00.

BENEFIT GOOF PROOF BROW PENCIL.

This is so easy & simple to use which I think is why it’s my holy grail brow product especially if used in conjunction with the Ready Set Brow setting gel. This product really fill my brows in lovely & natural looking. Again you don’t need to use a lot of this product. Unfortunately I’ve now ran out of it so will need to save to repurchase it. You can purchase it at the link below for £20.00.

BENEFIT BENEBALM.

If you’ve not already guessed I absolutely love Benefit products. My favourite high end brand, thats why you’ll see lots of Benefit products in my favourites. Somedays I just want to wear lipbalm instead of a lipstick and I love the Benebalm. It’s a tinted lip balm in a red shade. Super moisturizing and nourishing on the lips. Also very hydrating. Unfortunately when I was taking photographs for this blog post my 2 children wanted to join in with Mummy and also do swatches and I had to say goodbye to my Benebalm as they had swatched it so much. Ooops lots of Benefit shopping I need to save for and do. You can purchase this product at the link below for £15.50.

I ♡ MAKEUP BLUSHING HEARTS IN THE SHADE CANDY QUEEN OF HEARTS.

This blusher is amazing. It is a triple baked blusher. You can use either 3 of the individual shades or all of them together. Depending on the look im going for I’ll either use just one of the shades or all of them together. They are super pretty shades which scream out summer vibes. Lasts well on the face and very easy to apply. Even the packaging is really pretty. You can purchase it at the link below for £4.99.

BENEFIT THEY’RE REAL MASCARA.

I don’t have very long lashes but wish I had long lashes. I find it very hard applying false lashes so therefore don’t use them. This mascara as fast become my holy grail mascara. I’ve got it in the shade black. It’s really voluminous and makes my lashes appear more longer and fuller and it looks like i have false lashes on hence the mascara name They’re Real. Lasts all day on my eyelashes so no need to reapply it. I love this mascara and wear it most days. You can purchase it at the link below for £20.50.

ELF EYE PRIMER.

I don’t always wear eye primer but when I do this is the one I reach for. It’s a foundation sort of shade and very easy to apply with a doe foot applicator. It does help with your eyeshadow and helps it set the eyeshadow much better and makes it longer lasting. You can purchase it at the link below for £3.00.

MUA SETTING POWDER IN THE SHADE TRANSLUCENT.

I’ve probably already reviewed this product on my blog before but thats because this setting powder is my holy grail setting powder. It really helps set my face and I love the formula of it. You wouldn’t think at only £1 that it would be that good but let me tell you it’s amazing. You can purchase it at the link below for ONLY £1.00.

BENEFIT HIGH BEAM.

My skin is an olive sort of shade and it’s always nice to go for a different shade highlighter that isn’t golden. I love this product. So easy to apply with like a nail polish wand. It is a pink tone highlighter. I put a few drops on my cheekbones, nose & brow bones and it gives me a lovely glow. Sometimes I just use this highlighter and other times I will put another highlighter on top of it. Both ways work really well. A little product goes a long way. You can purchase it at the link below for £21.50.

REVOLUTION LIP TRENDS NUDE COLLECTION 2017.

I got this pack of 3 lip products in my 12 Days Of Christmas set by Revolution. Perfect nude shades which are my favourite lip shades to go for. I used these 3 lip products a lot in April. The darkest shade is the Euphoria one and a great shade for summer. The medium shade one is the Amplification one and definitely an ideal nude shade with some peach undertones which is what I’m loving this year. Finally the lightest shade one is the Sheer one. A true nude colour which is slightly lighter than the medium one with hints of peach and pink shades in it which I love. They all come with a doe foot applicator so very easy to apply. Not sticky in the slightest. Long lasting on the lips too. You can purchase them at the link below for £6.00 which is for all 3 of them.

I ♡ MAKEUP NAKED CHOCOLATE EYESHADOW PALETTE.

Firstly can we just appreciate the beautiful packaging. Designed as a melting chocolate bar. Certainly makes your makeup collection look pretty. This palette contains 16 shades. A mixture of shimmers and mattes. Perfect nude shades for a day to day look and long lasting on the eyes. You can purchase this at the link below for £7.99.

REVOLUTION EYESHADOW PALETTE IN NIGHT SHIMMERS.

So this palette came in the 12 Days Of Christmas set by Revolution. It contains 18 shades, 12 of which are shimmers & 6 are matte shades. This palette as a wide range of shades in. You could create a natural look with the natural shades or a more vibrant look with a pop of colour with the colourful matte shades. Long lasting on the eyes and I can’t recommend Revolution palettes any higher. I.m unable to find this palette to purchase as I do believe it was only available in the 12 Days Of Christmas set which is no longer being sold.

REVOLUTION ULTRA STROBE BALM PALETTE.

I’ve really been enjoying using cream products. For some reason I find they last longer on my face. We all love a good highlighter right? Well this palette is perfect for highlighting and quite frankly absolutely beautiful. It comes with 8 shades and each shade has a good amount of product in it to use. Containing colours such as gold, light pink, lilac (which looks kind of duochrome/holographic to me), a darker gold, a deeper purple, a pink kind of duochrome or holographic, a light green and another pinky shade. Super creamy and easy to apply. I sometimes wear them alone or with a powder highlighter on top and both ways work really well. You can purchase it at the link below for £8.00 that’s only £1.00 per shade.

REVOLUTION BLUSH PALETTE.

This blush palette was again part of the 12 Days Of Christmas set by Revolution. The actual palette doesn’t have a specific name- it just says blush palette. This palette contains 8 beautiful blush shades. A mixture of peach, pink & Brown shades so something to suit all. Each blush pan is quite big actually so you do get a lot of product for your money. All powder blushers which I’ve really been enjoying using. Long lasting & highly pigmented too. Again I’ve been unable to find this actual palette online so my thinking is that it was just limited to the set but they do sell a few other blush palettes for £6.00. You can find those at the link below.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST…..

URBAN DECAY DE-SLICK SETTING SPRAY.

After applying our makeup we all need a good setting spray to set all our make up right? This setting spray didn’t disappoint me. It set my makeup really well lasting the whole day & not sticky either which I find some setting sprays are. The only downside is that to me the scent was a bit like dead sea minerals which is a scent I don’t like but it does only last a few seconds and worth it as it does set your makeup for hours. You can purchase it at the link below for £23.50.
